Handmade on the Potter’s wheel

Handmade can mean different things for different companies and artists. Some companies like to write ‘handmade’ on products which are clearly not handmade and may have only been hand painted for example.

At the Dove Love Ceramics studio everything starts with a bag of clay and is totally made by me. From the wedging, throwing, turning, decorating and glazing, my hands have made everything from scratch.

So when I say ‘handmade’ products, I mean it! And because they are NOT factory made every piece is totally unique and a one off.
